My daughter is afraid of blood, as I’m sure most kids are, but I find it kind of funny she covers her ears when I pretend I’m going to show her what’s under my band-aid. Like why is she covering her ears and not her eyes, right?!?!?! What, is she going to hear the blood on my finger? So funny.
Tying into the rock and geode imagery, bloodstone just made sense for this one because of the cool maroon and eggplant colors going on. I’m sure someone that knows more about rocks than I do would want to have some words with me about it, but we can just let it be until the rock people force the issue.
