I don’t know why, but I’ve always had this tendency to start at the very first album in a band’s discography and then move on in chronological order when I start getting into a new band. It’s probably something to do with wanting to hear them as their sound progressed in proper order over time.
It was definitely that way for me when I first started listening to the Grateful Dead. Oh man, I can still remember what it felt like when I bought their self titled first record and dove right in. Tons of covers on that one, but boy oh boy. It sure did hit the spot for me. This piece feels like what Morning Dew sounds like in my head. I only wish it was an XL so it wouldn’t have to leave my home.
