Can’t say if I’ve ever seen a real plum blossom tree in person since they’re native to southern China, but I do know that my wife said we needed more “girly” colors and this is the result. I like pinks and purples too, so for me it’s still unisex though…
The pictures I’ve seen of the temples in China surrounded by these plum blossoms lining the roads and paths leading up to the staircases, just amazing. Seems so peaceful and serene. I hope this piece maybe captures even just a little bit of that beauty and feeling.
